Hello and welcome!

Hi I’m Marg, or Margaret to some. To my past students I was Mrs. Gibbs.
I’m a teacher, writer, blogger and poet.

Where do you find creativity?

Creativity doesn’t wait for the perfect moment. It seizes opportunities to problem solve, explore, question and face fears. Creativity is original and makes mistakes. Learn to love that process of being creative and let things happen. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt. Remember, there’s value in being wrong – build up your creative capacity.

What's important about community?

Community, regardless of backgrounds, community shares attitudes, goals and meaningful communication. Being involved in community means transcending differences. Take a closer look at your community. How can you support it?

Why connection?

Connection brings intimacy and knowledge, builds bridges between people, it’s a relationship that develops with facts, ideas and events. I’m a big believer in connection that builds social, physical, emotional and spiritual pathways.

Writing children’s books with love is my passion, and is what unites these values in my life.
Children’s books transport you on a ride that brings joy, comfort and wonder. They are timeless treasures that bring so many benefits. There are many genres in kid’s books (fantasy, realism humour, sci-fi..) There’s one out there just for you!
