I really loved this story. It was an exciting mystery about friendship, adventure and huskies in the snow. It made me want to keep reading to find out what happens next. I think other kids should read it too.

I stayed up all night reading it, completely hooked as I followed Elin’s journey across the globe, where she connects with her mother and faces the forces of the universe. I loved the way the plot twisted as Elin realised her precious stone had gone missing, and how she persistently tracked it down, determined to retrieve her mother’s powerful heirloom.” 

I like how Elin is flexible in life and goes through tough times but shows bravery and courage, making new friends.
